| Pure Reggae |
| Pure Reggae is back again with its weekly session! Tonight the Hunk Papa Tribe pays tribute to the architects, pioneers and new ambassadors of reggae music while also providing an outlet for aspiring British Reggae artists to showcase their latest dub plates. Launched in February 2004 and running at Brixton Telegraph for three years before relocating to Jamm, Pure Reggae has quickly established itself as part of the burgeoning British Reggae club scene, attracting an eclectic following of over 400 people on a weekly basis. It’s changing days and locations, but not philosophy it’s all about the “Positive Vibrations”. People wouldn’t keep coming back the way they do without the comfortable, barriers-down atmosphere – there’s true Brixton grit to the night but attitudes are left at the door and differences are put aside by a crowd that’s just there for the dance.
