If you mixed one part reggae, one part soul and one part gospel, what would you get? America's finest reggae singer and a chocolate-coated bomb by the name of Della Grant. Though a Georgia native, Della is as much a Jamaican as if she were born in the hills of "Wait A Bit".

A gifted singer from a family of talented musicians, she has been singing since the age of six. Her voice has become more refined and sweeter as her career continues. With the release of her eighth CD, "Give Jah The Glory", she continues in her usual eloquent style. Her previous releases, Arrival, Listen, Ruff 'N' Ready, Rootically Yours, Black Rose, Dawta of the Dust, In Fine Style, heralded the music world that she is here to stay and not just a flash in the pan. She has gained both national and international recognition for her music while touring with her husband and brother-in-law, Ralston and Norman Grant, the famed Twinkle Brothers. In fact, you could say Europe is having a love affair with her.



Della's version of Chaka Khan's Sweet Thing and her original Black Rose garnered a spot on the Jamaican charts for weeks, her Dawta of the Dust is doing the same in Europe. The Black Rose and Dawta of the Dust videos are enjoying critical acclaim in the states, Canada, Jamaica and Europe.

Della's husband, Ralston Grant and brother-in-law, Norman Grant of Jamaica's legendary Twinkle Brothers, compose and produce her music, while husband Grant also leads her band, The Pacesetters. Della has performed at such events as Reggae Sunsplash and White River Reggae Bash in Jamaica; headlined the 10th Annual Reggae Sunsplash in Grand Rapids, Michigan; Vancouver (B.C.) Island Reggaefest, Reggae on the River, Reggae in the Park, The Essential Festival in Brighton, England, festivals in Turkey, Poland, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Hawaii, numerous Bob Marley Day celebrations and much more.

Della has had the distinct honor and pleasure of performing with some of the world's most renowned artists such as Burning Spear, Bunny Wailer, Andrew Tosh, Luciano, Pablo Moses, Buju Banton, Shaggy, Capleton, Judy Mowatt, Rita Marley, Charlie Chaplin, Maxi Priest, Josey Wales, Israel Vibration, E.T.
