Basque Dub Foundation (BDF) Live
BDF as a live band has performed in the UK, France and Spain, where the have a huge following. Their live shows reverberate with the unique feel of the golden era of the 70's and 80's, before the digital technology would take Reggae music into a different phase.
A full live band in the tradition of the 70's studio bands such as The Roots Radics and The Revolutionaries. Having supported The Wailers, Luciano, Burning Spear, Lee Perry, Culture, Mad Professor, etc…… internationally, their live performances have been ecstatically reviewed, being one of the few bands that play original 70's dub with live (real) instruments.
Their live set is a mix of Dub and classic 3 part harmony singing, taking the inspiration from Gladiators, Meditations, Heptones, etc…..Having supported The Wailers, Luciano, Burning Spear.
BDF also performs as a backing band, playing for international Reggae artists such as Alton Ellis, Earl Sixteen, Kenny Knots, Dub Judah, Tena Stelin and Afrikan Simba.
